Frictionless Strong Customer Authentication with FIDO

FIDO  Payments/E-Commerce  PSD2

The Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirement in the European Banking Authority's PSD2 directive will affect merchants, payment service providers, and issuers when enforced in almost all European Economic Area countries on 31 December 2020.

While SCA will provide a higher level of security for card not present (CNP) and e-commerce transactions, depending on what technology is used to implement SCA, it has the potential to adversely affect the customer experience, conversion rates and sales.

FIDO is an open standard authentication technology that is supported by over 200 companies, including the world's largest technology companies. It provides a frictionless authentication experience that meets the SCA requirement. During this webinar, we will cover the following:

  1. How FIDO meets the PSD2 SCA requirements.

  2. How smooth and simple the FIDO authentication process is.

  3. How FIDO compares against other legacy solutions, and why you may want to adopt it.
